Luxury property in Marbella with truly fantastic James Bond style luxury property which previously was never discounted to the levels of the 2 Bed apartments in Marbella is now about to make the rich even richer according to the Spanish property experts Spanish Hot Properties. “Whilst one can understand the drop in prices for two bed apartments with the oversupply of this type of property in the market place especially in Costa del Sol we didn’t expect to see such great opportunities at the top end of the market” explained Nick Stuart managing director of Spanish Hot Properties.

Nick believes “it’s a multitude of factors from owner being wanted by Interpol, Rich people suddenly becoming very poor and needing to sell some of their toys, personal illness with people wanting to return to the country of their birth as quickly as possible and it can be something as mundane as not being able to afford the mortgage on the smaller luxury apartments”.
There are also unique deals on luxury properties out there one instance of this is where a Vendor has a Villa in Nueva Andalucía valued at over €2m Euros and is prepare to sell it for €700,000 but wants the option to be able to buy back the property for €1.050, 000 in two years time which means in the worse case scenario the buyer has made €280,000 in two years a 14% return on capital which isn’t bad compared to what you can get at your local bank. The only negative aspect of that transaction is that you can’t sell the Villa for two years. But as Nick says “It’s not for everyone but it shows you what people will do to try and get them out of a very difficult situation”.
So for the first time in a long time there are a few fantastic Marbella Luxury property bargains available but as always they are unlikely to be available for long.
